Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams (2002)

RATING: 3.5/5
In the second part of Spy Kids Trilogy (just found out it may not be a trilogy any longer), Juni and Carmen are on a mission of there own now that they are Junior Spies. They are off to a mysterious island to again save the world. The movie was not as good as the first one, but better than the last. Mom, Dad and grandparents are involved making the movie a great family movie with some action and adventure.

Spy Kids (2001)

RATING: 5/5
Our Spy Kids trilogy starts off where the Juni and Carmen on the run when they find out their parents are spies and they become heroes by saving mom and dad and stopping the evil villains from taking over the world with robot kids. The first movie was super cool and was destined to become a James Bond series for kids. It was very creative story and series.... And goes down hill from there.

What a Girl Wants (2003)

RATING: 3/5
It wasn't a great movie but it wasn't bad either. In the time of teen girl movies, What A Girl Wants comes out ahead. Amanda is so sweet, she makes you love her. The story was not bad but very predictable all the way around. It is a young chick flick, good for some entertainment for girls night in.

Hairspray (2007)

RATING: 5/5
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I am on my Amanda Bynes movie review kick, so all the photos from the movies will be of Amanda. I am biased. I saw this movie at the theater opening weekend and I fell in love. I hated the original movie, but as a musical this movie was brought to life for me. All the songs are catchy and by the second time you seem to already know them. I went to the theater to see it about 5 times. Once the DVD came out, that weekend we watched it another 5 times. This has become one of my all time favorite movies. All the cast are perfect in there parts and would not change any of them. And who knew Amanda could sing.

She's the Man (2006)

RATING: 4/5
Amanda Bynes was the perfect person for this role. With her baby face, she actually became a cute innocent boy. The movie it's self was entertaining and made me laugh quite a bit. It did not have that many slapstick jokes that you think the movie will have. It is a chick flick but for those who like Amanda Bynes, she is quite hot in this movie. It has become one of my fave Amanda movie.

The Aviator (2004)

RATING: 5/5
I really do love this movie. Not a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, but this movie enlightened me on the world of Howard Hughes and brought me to appreciate what he accomplished in the world of aviation. The story moved smoothly through his life and did not bore you with unimportant parts. Leonard did a fantastic job with the role. It was a job well done.
UPDATE: This is the movie that has made me appreciate DiCaprio as an actor and has become one of my top 25 movies of all time.

Can't Buy Me Love (1987)

RATING: 5/5
Dude... I cry during this movie everytime I see it. Just bought it on DVD and I love it. It is fun to look back and see all the big hair on the girls which is a total 80's thing. But no matter how dated the movie looks, the story is still the same. Geek loves the popular figures out a way to become popular and fails miserably, but ultimately gets the girl in the end and lives happily ever after. This is a total chic flick... A+ in my book.
