After seeing this movie a hundred times or more, I still love it. Ridley is a genius in building up the tension and drama without anything going on. I decided to watch the director and cast commentary this time around. I learned a lot more that I didn't realize. So much of the movie was done on the fly that day of the shoot, which was so amazing to learn. The movie still holds up well and is so well done, you don't even realize it was made in 1979. Most sci-fi/horror movies definitely don't hold up this well. I still hold this to be one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time, and I think I fall in love with it a little bit more every time I watch it.
