Women in Trouble (2009)

RATING: 4/5
This movie was hysterically funny at the beginning of the film, but as it it progressed it seemed to play out more like "Crash" and how each of these girls are connected. Overall, it was entertaining but I feel that it was more like a reason to just see Carla Gugino in a a bra and panties and have lots of crotch shots.

Dolores Claiborne (1995)

RATING: 4/5
I really was surprised how much I liked this movie, it kept me interested even when I was dealing with disc rot from the laserdisc. I was not aware it was a Stephen King story, but I can see it within the movie even though it was not a horror. It had a sense of eeriness in the film and kept me intrigued as to how the plot was going to end and to see if she would be convicted. I am normally not a fan of movies that jump from past to present and from different parts of the plot, but they did it so there was a distinct progression from current to past events. Kathy Bates was awesome and they did very well as changing her from young to old throughout the movie. I would recommend this movie, but it does move along slowly... but steady.

Pineapple Express (2008)

RATING: 3/5
I am not a fan of stoner movies in general but so many people told me this was pretty darn good. Yes there were some funny parts in it, but over all it was a bit lame. Maybe if I was stoned during it I would have found it funnier. But I wasn't.

Love and Other Disasters (2006)

RATING: 3.5/5
This is a silly romantic comedy about a girl and her gay friends. Over all the story was cute if you can get past Brittnay Murphy having a British accent. Kevin from Brothers & Sisters was in it as her gay friend, which seeing him more flamboyant was quite fun.

Drag Me to Hell (2009)

RATING: 5/5
Honestly, I thought this movie was going to be just another cheesy horror movie that would have bad special effect and I would be bored half way through it. But Sam Raimi proved me wrong. I was totally impressed by how this movie kept me intrigued throughout, and that is hard to do cause I have a low attention span and I even had my laptop in front of me that I did not even touch. There was some "gross out" scenes that made me and my roomie go "OHHHHHHH" but over all, I would say this may be up on my all-fave horror flicks.

Orphan (2009)

RATING: 4/5
I had wanted to see this movie because Jennifer Stone (of Wizards of Waverly Place) had said it was an excellent movie, so we rented over the Halloween weekend and at first I was enjoying it, but then it seem to drag on and I was getting bored with it, but then towards the end it picked up again and the plot twist became so addicting that I could not turn away. So, you gotta get through the slow parts, but it was very well worth it.

Grease (1978)

RATING: 4/5
Grease is the word. Fun upbeat romantic musical with catchy songs. It makes you want to jump up on your car and say "It's Greased Lightening". I have loved this movie since I was a kid and it has not lost it's power over the years.
