Surprisingly entertaining, Species kept me hooked and engaged as they showed me the life and evolution of a alien life form. Unlike some Alien movies that take us to outer space, this movie keeps us in a familiar setting of Los Angeles which makes it more believable than moving us to another world we have to imagine. All and all, it had all the elements of go sci-fi flick.
